It can be particularly useful when a person is trying to bring changes in their life but are struggling to do so. Ultimately it can help a person gain a deeper understanding of many aspects of their life including patterns in relationships and behaviours.

Counselling normally involves a weekly meeting lasting 50 minutes, generally at the same time and place. Confidentiality is a very important element of the counselling process and a counsellor will answer any questions their client may have about it.
